Ilsa's Stovetop Neapolitan Coffee Maker brews an unmistakably Italian cup of traditional "flip drip" Neapolitan espresso, also called Caffe Napolitano, with a rich, robust flavor. Made in Italy, this 3-part aluminum flip-style coffee pot transfers heat evenly to boil water and diffuse it through ground coffee at the optimal time and brewing temperature. It's perfectly sized to brew up to 6 servings. Safe for gas, electric, and glass stovetops, it's the perfect coffee accessory for coffee enthusiasts who love authentic Italian coffee. For best results, and before first use, rinse all parts, then cook and discard several pots of coffee to condition the pot and remove any metallic taste. For the perfect brew, fill the bottom chamber with water (the half without the spout), add coffee grounds to the middle filter, secure the top in place (the half with the spout), and set the assembled pot over a low flame. Once water comes to a boil, shut the flame and flip the entire pot onto its opposite end (now the chamber with the spout is on the bottom) so boiling water seeps through the filter and ground coffee, and into the empty chamber. Once coffee has finished dripping, remove the empty top chamber and enjoy the fresh hot coffee. Use the lid to keep brewed coffee hot and for reheats.
