The ceramic grinding mechanism is versatile to work for grinding both peppercorns and sea salt, and easily adjusts the grind texture, from ultra-fine to coarse, with a simple turn of the locking nut located on top of the mill. Easily sprinkle table salt and grind favorite peppercorns, from white, red, black or a colorful melange, to Sichuan peppercorns, long pepper, grains of paradise, as well as flavorful smoked peppercorns, plus all types of sea salt, like fluer de sel, Himalayan or Celtic sea salt, and more. They display nicely on the countertop or table and are always ready for any cooking task and dining occasion, both indoors and outdoor entertaining. They're easy to use and super easy to fill. Simply remove the bottom plug to fill the salt shaker and, for the pepper grinder, remove the locking nut along with the mill top and fill its cylinder. Reassemble the shaker and peppermill. Tighten or loosen the locking nut to the desired pepper grind. Turn the mill top clockwise to grind the contents directly where flavor is needed.
