This Bleed Control Kit is an important item to have in your establishment. It is able to help you administer quick and strategic aid to open wounds and bleeding injuries to help prevent blood loss, shock, and infections. This kit comes in a durable 10"L x 7"W x 3"H plastic carrying case, which contains several items designed to prevent the loss of blood. Inside, you will find (1) high-strength pressure bandage and a quick-tight tourniquet, which are both designed to apply strategic pressure to bleeding wounds to help slow the loss of blood. (2) NuStat® 4" x 4" Hemostatic Dressings help properly dress the wound, while (4) packs of gauze will help reduce further loss of blood once the injury is covered. You will also find a pair of nitrile gloves to help protect workers administering first aid, and a survival rescue blanket for more extreme conditions. A pair of scissors is included to help cut strips of gauze as needed. A permanent marker helps include any notes for medical staff. Finally, a SAM chest seal is included, which is designed to help cover open chest wounds quickly.
